About Robert Smith

Robert Smith - A native of Georgia, at the age of ten started working for the late Kiff Parrish cleaning stalls and lunging horses everyday after school and on weekends. After high school, Parrish decided that Robert had enough talent to be a horse trainer, and he spent 19 years working for Parrish. Robert rode and broke many outstanding horses over the years including: Reds Double Sunny, Panners Pride, Bears Rasin Cane (mother to Invitation Only), Annie Two Bars to name a few. At the age of 30, Robert went out on his own and never looked back. Robert moved to North Florida and started his own training operation that was a success before picking up his operation in 2006 and moving all the way to the West Coast. Robert now has a great group of clients in Arizona & California.

Since December 1, 2011, Robert along with 18 of his Champion, Reserve Champion and current prospects have been training out of our show barn.  He also trains in longe lining and has had several World Champion Longe Liners.
